Order by WhatsApp7.5 mil TPU PPF in stock in Surrey - 10-year warranty, 100% self-healing, crystal gloss. Colour PPF available to order. Thicker Polar ICE options coming soon.
POLAR Paint Protection Film is a premium thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) clear film built to take the damage your customer's paint would otherwise take - stone chips on the highway, wash swirls, bug acid, road salt and UV fade. FineCo Sign Supplies stocks the Polar ICE Series in Surrey, British Columbia and supplies it by the roll at trade pricing to wrap shops, PPF installers, detailing studios and automotive film dealers. We are a wholesale supplier: we sell the film, your shop does the install.
The SKU in stock today is Polar ICE 75 - a 7.5 mil (185 um) TPU film with an elastomeric top coat, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and a 75 um PET release liner. It carries a 10-year warranty against base-film cracking, top-coat peeling and adhesive bubbling, and it is rated 100% self-healing: light swirls and fine scratches close up at room temperature, no heat gun ritual required in front of the customer.
For the installer, the numbers that matter are stretch and recovery. Polar ICE 75 has break elongation of 332% or more and a tear strength of 40 kN/m or more, so it pulls into bumper corners, mirror caps and hood edges without tearing or leaving stress marks. The surface is hydrophobic with a gloss reading of 110 or higher at 60 degrees, so a wrapped panel reads as wet gloss next to untouched paint instead of dull or hazy. The film is wet-application only at a bay temperature of 15-25 C - that is the manufacturer's requirement, and it is also what keeps the warranty valid.
Why BC shops buy Polar instead of a dealer-network brand: no territory lock-in, no program minimums, and stock sitting in Surrey rather than crossing a border. Polar positions the ICE Series as "European quality, Canadian value" - it gives your shop a serious TPU option at a margin that actually works on a full-front or full-body quote.

VEHICLE APPLICATIONS
FLEET AND SPECIALTY
Best-fit sales angle for shops: pair PPF with ceramic coating and window tint as a three-stage protection package - PPF handles impact, ceramic handles chemistry and gloss, tint handles heat and UV inside the cabin.
A: POLAR PPF is a clear thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film applied over automotive paint to absorb stone chips, scratches, bug acid, road salt and UV before they reach the clear coat. FineCo stocks the Polar ICE Series and supplies it wholesale by the roll to professional shops in British Columbia.
A: Polar ICE 75 - 7.5 mil (185 um) - is in stock in Surrey, BC. Thicker Polar ICE options are coming soon; ask us to notify you when they land. We only list what we can actually ship.
A: 10 years, covering base-film cracking, top-coat peeling and adhesive bubbling, per the manufacturer's TDS. The warranty is valid only when storage, installation and maintenance follow POLAR's official guidelines.
A: Yes - the top coat is rated 100% self-healing and works at room temperature. Light swirls and fine scratches close on their own; warmth from sunlight or warm water speeds it up. Deep cuts that go through the film are not repairable.
A: Wet application only. Use a clean, dust-free bay at 15-25 C, decontaminate the paint thoroughly first, and avoid static build-up while cutting. Dry installation is outside the manufacturer's method and will void warranty coverage.
A: No washing and no prolonged rain exposure for 7 days after installation, so the adhesive can fully cure. After that, normal pH-neutral washing is fine.
A: Polar ICE is a premium TPU film with a UV-stable, non-yellowing top coat. Yellowing is typically a symptom of cheap TPH or PVC "PPF" - a different material class entirely.
A: TPU is elastomeric polyurethane: it stretches further, self-heals and stays clear. TPH is a cheaper hybrid that stretches less, heals poorly and tends to yellow. Polar ICE 75 is TPU.
A: Both, for different jobs. PPF is physical impact protection; ceramic coating is chemical resistance, gloss and hydrophobics. Many shops apply ceramic over PPF and quote it as one package.
A: Yes - colour PPF is available to order. Contact us for available colours, minimum order quantity and lead time.
A: No. FineCo Sign Supplies is a wholesale supplier - we sell film to professional shops. If you are a vehicle owner looking for an installation, one of our shop customers can help you.
A: Contact us for current trade pricing, roll sizes and any minimum order. Bulk and multi-roll pricing is available for shops carrying stock.

A: 15-25 C, humidity 40-60%, in the original packaging, stored upright and away from direct sunlight. Poor storage is a warranty exclusion.
